2. Officials say more than 100,000 customers are still without electricity in the wake of hurricane Isaac. Most of the outages are in Louisiana, but some Mississippi and Arkansas residents are also without power. And flooding remains a problem in low-lying areas.

 

 

 

3. Police say a grandson of the creator of the Red Bull energy drink has been arrested for driving his Ferrari that struck a police officer and dragged his dead body down a Bangkok street. The 27-year-old heir was taken in for questioning after traces of oil reportedly led officers to his family's gated estate.

 

 

 

4. Experts says they are cautiously optimistic about five pilot whales that survived being stranded on a Florida beech. The whales which are being treated at Florida Atlantic University are showing signs of stress and infection, but they are said to be swimming on their own.
