[00:07.97]One day, a poor boy who was trying to pay his way through school

[00:13.23]by selling goods door to door found that he only had one dime left.

[00:19.14]He was hungry so he decided to beg for a meal at the next house.

[00:23.95]However, he lost his nerve when a lovely young woman opened the door.

[00:28.76]Instead of a meal he asked for a drink of water.

[00:33.03]She thought he looked hungry so she brought him a large glass of milk.

[00:37.52]He drank it slowly, and then asked, “How much do I owe you？”

[00:42.66]“You don’t owe me anything,” she replied.

[00:45.61]“Mother has taught me never to accept pay for a kindness.”

[00:49.88]He said, “Then I thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

[00:54.14]As Howard Kelly left that house, he not only felt stronger physically,

[00:58.96]but it also increased his faith in the human race.

[01:09.68]The local doctors were baffled. They finally sent her to the big city,

[02:14.49]She read these words “Paid in full with a glass of milk—Dr. Howard Kelly”.

[02:20.40]Tears of joy flooded her eyes as she prayed silently:

[02:24.89]Thank You, God. Your love has spread through human hearts and hands.”
