看电视是好是坏？每个家庭都会讨论一番。可这次爸爸不许丹尼尔看动画片，却为自己开了绿灯，怪不得丹尼尔大喊不公平呢？

 

Dad：Daniel, have you finished your homework?

 

爸爸：丹尼尔，完成作业了吗？

 

Daniel: Not yet, Dad. I am watching the Ultraman instead. 

 

丹尼尔：还没呢，爸爸。我正在看《奥特曼》。

 

(Father gets angry and turns off the TV.) （父亲生气了，把电视关了。）

 

Daniel: No, no, Dad. Please. This program is on only once a week.

 

丹尼尔：不，爸爸，求求您了。这个节目一个星期才放一次的。

 

Dad：Daniel, as a matter of fact, TV is bad for your health.

 

爸爸：丹尼尔，事实上，电视不利于你的健康。

 

Daniel: What makes you think that?

Dad：It’s full of violence and you are so young .

Daniel: About 6:00.

Dad：It’s homework time now. Go and do your homework and then go to bed.

 

爸爸：现在是家庭作业时间。去做作业，然后上床睡觉。

 

(Father turns on the TV)（爸爸打开了电视）

 

Dad(murmur)：American Idol, there you go.

 

爸爸： (自言自语) 《美国偶像》来了!

 

Daniel: Dad, it’s not fair. I am so disappointed with you!

 

丹尼尔：爸爸，不公平。我对你太失望了！
