五月份席卷中国的购金热潮仍在持续。由于黄金价格下跌，珠宝商和金条的销量飙升。

　　Thousands rushed into gold stores and some even travelled to Hong Kong to secure bargain rates on gold bars.

　　According to the Shanghai Commission of Commerce, during the three day holiday, sales of gold and jewellery rose 108% from a year earlier, leading all other retail categories.

　　成千上万的人涌向黄金店购金，一些人为了低价买金，甚至前往香港购买金条。据上海市商务委员会统计，“五一”黄金珠宝首饰的销售较去年同期增长108%，居于领先势头。

　　Meanwhile, Beijing also reported a 25 percent increase in gold and jewellery sales. Caibai, a gold retailer in the capital, saw gold sales reach a record high of 200 million yuan over the three day period.

　　北京城金银珠宝“五一”销量增25%。菜百公司是北京的一家黄金珠宝首饰零售商，其“五一”的黄金销量达到创纪录的2亿元。
