1. President Barack Obama and Republican Mitt Romney are doing some multi-state campaigning. Both candidates are stopping in the battleground state of Ohio. Obama is also stopping in Wisconsin and Iowa, while Romney is in Florida, Virginia and New Hampshire. 2. Drivers in New York and New Jersey are spending a lot of time in line getting gas and they are paying more for it. Gas prices are up an average of 3 cents in New York and 7 cents in New Jersey.
3. The Pittsburgh Zoo says the two-year-old boy who fell into an exhibit of African wild dogs was killed by the animals and not the fall. The zoo's president says the boy was so small that he bounced out of a safety net below the railing and fell into the enclosure.
4. And Reality TV Sharon Osbourne says she has had a double mastectomy. That's after learning she carries a gene that increases the risk of developing breast cancer. The 60-year-old told a British magazine she "didn't want to live the rest of my life with that shadow hanging over me." |
