2. President Barack Obama is seeking support from the public on law enforcement today for his gun proposals. Obama heads to the Minneapolis Police Depart Special Operation Centre. The visit will mark the first time Obama has campaigned on his controversial proposals outside of Washington. 

 

3. The new boss of the State of Department plans to formally introduce himself today to agency employees. Secretary of State, John Kerry, has been marched the weekend making the connections with leaders around the world. Kerry was swearing in on Friday.

 

4. The Baltimore Ravens are the Super Bowl Champions. The Ravens beat the San Francisco 49ers 34 - 31 Sunday night in the Super Dome in New Orleans began with the delay 34 minutes because of a power outage.
