"This civil reform helps in boosting efficiency of judicial system by eliminating month-long queues in courts or processes lasting for years at Court of Appeal and High Court. In this respect, judges will have less processes and time for review of cases will be shorter," Halimi underlines during a press conference.

　　"Civil Package and all transforming processes undertaken by Ministry of Justice have been supported by experts of foreign missions and backed by groups of interests, while the staff of the ministry and teams of professionals have worked hard for realization of the courageous reforms in the course of these years," Halimi added.

　　Albania has applied for European Union candidacy status but has already been turned down by Brussels, which stressed that reform of justice system remains a key factor in Albania's integration to European Union.
