We are starting in the Philippians with the impact of a powerful storm there. You can see some of the flooding and damages here, it is all the result of typhoon Yuto. In Philin it is also called Labuyo. Typhoon are the same kind of storm as hurricane, they are called different things based on where they happen. And this one, Yuto, is the strongest typhoon that's happend any where in the world so far this year. Winds up to 124miles per hour, at least one person killed, twenty more were missing yesterday. Where 600 homes were damaged in the area where it made landfall.  Philipians is made up of more than 7000 islands, and the country is hit by an average of 20 typhoons every year. In the US, some states are dealing with the severe weather as well. In Colorado, heavy rains let the flush flooding. Take a look at this vedio.
 
 
These cars washed away like toys. In some parts of the state, the flood water were up to 10 feet deep and moving it up to 30 miles per hour. You can see the water washing through the cars that is stuck in it. This is a parking garage that flooded. You can see how high the water rose based on how little of the cars are still visible. Once the flood water started to recede, this is the kind of the damage they left behind. At least one person was killed, emergency crew were searching for anyone who was missing. The residents will be just starting the cleanup and recover, that could take some time.
