Take a look at the satellite. Troughes over central and eastern Australian are producing showers and the odd thunderstorm. Hot Northerlies are affecting Victoria, South Australia and southern parts of Western Australia. A trough is causing storms over western Australian and the Northern Territory. And Onshore winds are causing showers on the NSW and Queensland coasts.
Looking around the states.
Showers and storms in Queensland east, heaviest over the central coast, hot in the west and thundery showers inland.
Showers over the east of NSW, storms on the ranges, hot in the west with isolated storm.
Showers and storms expected in Victoria, heaviest on the ranges, hot in the west and warm in the east.
Mostly sunny and dry throughout Tasmania with light northerlies and patchy morning fog.
Isolated showers and storms in South Australia's east, mostly sunny and warm elsewhere.
In Western Australia, it will be hot and mostly sunny in the south, a thundery shower is expected in the north.
In the Northern Territory, showers and storms expected across the north, heaviest in the northwest. In the south, it will be mostly sunny and hot.
Looking ahead to tomorrow, and showers are expected in Brisbane, Sydney and Perth. Mostly fine in Canberra, Hobart and Adelaide. Late thunder in Darwin. |
