Let's take a look at the satellite. A low is causing heavy rain, strong winds, dangerous surf over northeastern NSW. Troughes are triggering storms in parts of Queensland, South Australia and in Western Australia where a cooler change and showers are expected in the southwest.
Looking around the states.
In Queensland, there'll be showers along the coast, dangerous surf easing in the southeast and storms inland.
Heavy rain in the east of NSW will spread to the south and west, winds easing along the coast and dry conditions in the far west.
Mostly sunny and very warm in Victoria with high humidity, isolated showers and storms in the east.
Tasmania will be warm and humid with northeasterly winds, showers in the north and the east, sunny in the south.
Mostly sunny and hot in South Australia, humid in the south, isolated showers and storms in the southwest later.
Western Australia will see rain, wind and seas increasing in the Kimberly, mostly sunny in the southwest and storms in the south.
In the Northern Territory, there'll be rain and wind in the western top end, thundery showers elsewhere in the north.
And looking ahead to tomorrow. Late showers and thunderstorms for Brisbane, rain easing in Sydney. Late showers in Melbourne. A chance of rain for Hobart and Adelaide. Sunny in Perth and possible thunderstorms in Darwin. |
