A trough is generating showers over SA and Tasmania, tropical cyclone Sandra is moving east, away from the Queensland coast. And a monsoonal trough is causing storms in parts of the Northern Territory and Western Australia. Looking around the states.
Queensland can expect showers and fresh southeasterly winds on the coast, storms in the north and mostly sunny and warm inland.
NSW will be sunny and warm inland and there will be light showers in the eastern parts of the state.
It'll be warm and humid throughout Victoria with isolated shower in the western ranges.
Warm northeasterly winds in Tasmania, late storms are expected in the southeast.
It will be mostly sunny in the east and the west of South Australia, with heavy showers and storms in the south, hot conditions are expected throughout.
Western Australia will see showers and thunderstorms in the west and north, with high temperature statewide.
Showers and thunderstorms are on the way in the upper Northern Territory with very hot and dry conditions in the southeast.
Looking ahead to tomorrow, and possible showers in Sydney and Adelaide. Mostly sunny in Canberra and Melbourne. Late thunder in Darwin. Possible thunderstorms in Perth. Rainy in Brisbane and clearing showers in Hobart. |
