Snowden met with a German law maker last week and gave him a letter asking the US for clemency for charges of allegedly leaking classified information form the National Security Agency. Snowden wrote speaking the truth is not a crime. The New York marathon was back in action today after super Sandy forced to be canceled last year. It was run without incident as JS, a member station WNYC reports.
