Let’s take a look at the satellite.A cold front and trough are approaching Tasmania and Victoria, bringing scattered showers. Low pressure over the Top End is causing isolated showers and storms. High is keeping other areas mostly dry. Looking around the country.
Isolated showers about Queensland’s east tropical coast and remaining northern districts during the afternoon. Fine and mostly sunny across New South Wales. Isolated early fog patches in the east.
For Victoria, a partly cloudy and mostly dry day with isolated showers, possible near and south of the divide. A cooler change in the southwest,extending to central districts by night.
Isolated showers in Tasmania’s west and far south and possible showers about the north this morning. Mostly sunny in the east.
In South Australia, fine apart from possible isolated showers about Kangaroo Island and the lower southeast. Mild near the south coast, grading to hot in the north and west.
Showers in the southwest of WA, extending east to the coast during the late afternoon. Isolated thunderstorms about the south coast, extending to the southern Gold Fields.
And in the Northern Territory, very isolated coastal showers, mainly in the east. It’ll be sunny elsewhere.
And looking ahead to tomorrow’s forecast for the capital cities. Mostly sunny across the country, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Canberra, Hobart and Darwin, sunny in Brisbane, some possible showers in Perth. |
