《走在雨中》是由吉姆·里卫斯（Jim Reeves）创作的，虽然里卫斯不像普莱斯利——猫王那样享有盛誉，也不像列侬那样开刨了摇滚乐的新辉煌。然而里卫斯的这首乐曲却成为大众爱唱的热门歌曲。歌名《走在雨中》，其意义已由歌词内容和just限定。从汉语表达walk的意义来看，似乎译为“漫步雨中”更有诗情画意。但这样却与歌曲的内容相偏离。“漫步”的内涵是那么轻松愉快，心乐优美，可是本首歌曲的基调恰好与之相反——忧郁沮丧，孤独无助的落泊形象。
