2. NASA says its Opportunity Rover apparently took this small rock on Mars, giving scientists the rare chance to examine it. NASA described the rock as looking like a white doughnut with a jelly center. 

 

3. Multiple explosions in Egypt killed 5 people on Friday according the officials. That attacks came a day before the 3rd anniversary of the uprising that toppled President Hosni Mubarak in 2011. 

 

4. A sober-looking Justin Bieber was released from jail on Thursday. This is after his arrest earlier in the morning for a DUI and other charges. Officers said the blurry-eyed Bieber had smelt of alcohol and initially resisted arrest.
