The Obama administration is extending an affordable care act deadline. The White House says that anyone in line for completing health insurance applications with the March 31st deadline to sign up hits will get more time to finish.
At least 16 people are confirmed dead in last weekend's massive mudslide north of Seattle. Officials say more bodies have been spotted but not yet recovered.
Planes and ships from a half dozen nations are searching waters southwest of Australia Wednesday for any sign of the missing Malaysian plane. Storms kept many of the ships and planes from searching Tuesday.
And President Obama is in Belgium attending a U.S.-European Union summit where he's solidifying the West's response to Russian intervention in Ukraine.
