“mean”邪恶的，坏的，小气的

“stingy”吝啬的，小气的

She is nice but I don’t like her.

她很好但是我不喜欢她。

He is not kind but mean.

他的心肠不好而是卑鄙。

“fond”喜欢的

Peter and I are fond of music.

Peter as well as I is fond of music.

彼得和我喜欢音乐。

“as well as”以及

“rather than”而不是

Peter rather than I is fond of music.

彼得喜欢音乐而我不喜欢。

He is ugly，not handsome.

他很丑，而不是帅。
