Some 36,000 runners are expected to take part in Monday's Boston Marathon, the first since last year's deadly bombings. The number of spectators lining the route is estimated in the hundreds of thousands. South Korea's president says the captain and crew of that sunken ferry committed murderous acts by waiting more than half an hour before issuing an evacuation order. Divers have now recovered more than 60 bodies from the
wreckage.
The FBI says a 16-year-old managed to climb into the whell well of an Hawaiian Airlines jet flying from California to Maui over the weekend. He survived the flight and is now in custody.
And in Denver, thousands of revelers raised joints, pipes and vaporizer devices Sunday in a toast of 4-21, the April 20th pot celebration in the first state to legalize the recreational marijuana.
