 Southwesterly breezes in the wake of a cold front are triggering scattered showers over Victoria, Tasmania and southeastern New South Wales. A moist easterly flow is producing thundery showers over the top end. And onshore winds are generating light showers about coastal Queensland.

 
 
Looking around the country.
 
 
Fine across most of Queensland. Some isolated showers about the tropical east coast. And isolated thunderstorms to the Far North. In New South Wales, fine apart from the chance of showers in the southeast and along in the northern coast. Victoria will see isolated showers over the southern districts moving to the coast by evening. Fine and sunny over the north. In Tasmania, isolated showers above the west and south, easing later on before clearing in the evening. Fine elsewhere. For South Australia, the chance of isolated morning showers towards the south. A cool morning with early fog patches. Western Australia will see some drizzle in the southwest and possibly some isolated thunderstorms in the far north Kimberly. And in the Northern Territory, isolated showers around the top end, tending scattered. Dry and sunny elsewhere in the territory.
 
 
And looking ahead to tomorrow is forecast the capitals.
 
 
Mostly sunny Sydney, Brisbane and Canberra. Mostly sunny in Melbourne. Light showers in Hobart. Mostly sunny in Adelaide and also Perth. And light showers for Darwin.
