President Barack Obama is playing a business pitchman. Obama welcomed the leaders 11 foreign and US based firms that have opened new plants in the US or brought back overseas operations.
3. General Motor is recalling nearly 2.5 million vehicles in the US, part of a broader effort to resolve outstanding safety issues more quickly. The latest action brings the total to more than 13.5 million vehicles GM has recalled this year.
4. And Kentucky Derby and Preakness winner California Chrome arrived at Belmont Park Tuesday, aiming for the first Triple Crown Win since 1978. He will be allowed to wear a nasal strip in the Belmont stakes on June 7th. |
