2. Police in Santa Barbara, California  say Elliot Rodger left a long manifest of anger and several YouTube videos of contempt. He lashed out in writing against women and men before he went on a stabbing and shooting rampage Friday night.     

 

3. Pope Francis kicks off the final leg of his holy land Pilgrimage arriving at Israel's international airport. The Pope was greeted by Israel's President Shimom Peres. Francis arrived from the west bank town of Bethlehem, where earlier Sunday he voiced strong sympathy for the Palestinians.
