A Four Corners investigation has uncovered more cases of rape and sexual assault in the Australian Defense Force. The victims are yet to be contacted by the government hospitals. It's been set up to compensate those who were abused in the military. The outgoing chief of defense David Herly says he's aware of 8 serving officers who were thought to sexually abuse cadets.
Terrorists have attacked the international airport in Pakistan's largest city of Karachi. At least 5 people have been killed. No one has claimed responsibility so far. The government has been trying to negotiate with the Pakistanian Taliban to end years of fighting.
The families of some passengers aboard the missing Malaysia Airlines plane have launched a campaign to help find the aircraft. They want to raise 5 million dollars to help encourage the whistleblower to come forward with any information about the flight.
The prime minister Tonny Abbott has arrived in Canada for talks with his counterpart Stephen Harper. Mr. Abbott is being a company by business delegation, and says there's potential for more investment in the Australian resources and energy sectors ... |
