Argurably the greatest basketball player of all time with 6 MBA champinon wins, Michael Jordan single handedly reinvented a game with his gravity defined moves on the court and off the court. For over 20 years, Jordan has made dreams come true for kids with life-threatening illnesses as an ambassador for the make a wish foundation.

It's been a while. 

 

so private now in your life, what is it about the make-a-wish foundation that has made you decide to give an interview?

 

They've given me a vehicle to get back and give back and to be able to touch kids that need a realization, need to get away from daily activities they have to deal with, so gratifying that they'll be able to touch even the few that we do touch. 

 

On this day at the shadow xx golf course in Las Vegas, he's making 8-year-old Lucas B dreams come true. In February last year, Lucas was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer and all he wanted to do was meet his idle. 

 

These are life-changing events for these kids, and I want them to be able to enjoy it. 

 

At the xx resorted casino,"Given a ride in a Limo before?" Lucas got a star treatment. Are you nervous about meeting Michael?A little. 

 

Over the years, Jordan's changed lives of over 200 sick kids.

 

You have experienced loss with your father. Do you think that that has connected you more with what these families are going through? 

 

You know, obviously it helped me deal with the loss of a parent, you know, and being very fortunate that I had them for 32 years.

 

You understand what an impact you've had.

 

But it's totally different now. I had my time in the sun and now I just want quietly just sit over and watch and when I can help, I can help, you know, but for the most part, I am just home.

 

And home for him is with his new wife E and newborn twin daughters. 

 

What's it like being a dad this time around?

 

It's a little different, you know, I can spare more time, I'm there, I can see a lot of things. I mean with my other three kids I wasn't there as much, you know, I'm learning but I am having fun. 

 

Since I was on a golf course, I decided to see if his airness could grant a longtime wish of mine-- learn how to play golf. 

 

What kind of a coach are you?

 

In the end, not even a sports god could grant my wish, luckily the wish that really mattered, Lucas's, came true.
