The next morning is a new chapter. Day two starts with Wilie ushering me straight onto the beach. 

Such a contrast yesterday, walking on the sand at this time of the oceans, this close, whispering a toast. What my magnificent way to start the tour of the walk! The temptation on the beach like this is just too strong to resist.

 

This long and broad span of sand lies 200 kilometers east of Cape Galas, the southern most tip of Africa and the point which two oceans meet.

-This is the slightly warmer Indian Ocean. They come to cape and cross the Atlantic, which is freezing. This is quite icy.

 

Despite the popularity of the Garden Route and embarrassment of riches, it's really very easy to find yourself utterly alone.
