The owner of the Minnesota Vikings says the team made a mistake bringing back Adrian Peterson following his felony child abuse charge. Reversing course from a day earlier, the team says Peterson will be banrred from all activities indefinitely.

 

Mexico's government began airlifting tens of thousands of tourists stranded in the hurricane revaged resort area of Los Cabos. The weekend Odile headed over the Gulf of California Wednesday on its way to Arizona as a new storm loomed to the South.

 

A female giant panda was born in China Monday. The keepers at the wild animal center said the newborn is pink with eyes tightly shut. They say she will grow her black spots and a long tail within the next month.
