This museum presents an entertaining history of London's domestic life, from prehistoric times, through the Romans and Vikings, into the Mediaeval and Renaissance periods, the growth of empire, and finally, the 20th century. It's a well-documented hike through the day-to-day living of the people of London.

To me, understanding how people lived is more fun than trying to figure out which dynasty succeeded which, or which politician survived which power struggle. To put a human face on London's history, visit the Museum of London.
Sundays in London can be a problem for sightseeing, because the museums are only open for a couple of hours in the afternoon, and then they are packed with tourists. So let's see how we can organize a full Sunday in London.

Start off with a British breakfast at our B&B. In this case, the Ravnogora, which doubles as the home in exile of the Serbian Royal Government. Mendy and Michael give travelers a cozy home in this big city. And if you are lucky, you might sleep in the duke's room. Well-fortified for a busy day, we hit the tube to a Sunday market.
