Our guide books give us several choices. We are heading for the Camden Lock flea market. If you like garage sales, you'll love these street markets, and they offer lots of opportunities for candid people shots.
To get those shots, I preset my camera, I set the meter on sunlit ground and focus at, say, 12 feet. Now I know I can shoot anyone who's in the sunlight and 10 to 15 feet away.
The Camden Lock market usually has some crafts, antiques, a little jazz and lots of faces to focus on to.
I don't always buy, but I always get a kick out of the scene. That scene was just openers for what I think is the best free show in town, Speaker's Corner in Hyde Park.
