Hundreds of members of Sydney's Jewish community have joined the search for a missing school girl. A large search has so far failed to find any trace of 11-year-old Michelle Levy. She was last seen leaving her north B. home on Saturday evening after an argument with her family. 

 

And police are also concerned for the welfare of the missing 14-year-old boy in southern Tasmania. Jack R. was last seen on Saturday afternoon when he left his W. home for a bike ride. 

 

Indonesia's new president Joko Widodo has unveiled his cabinet which includes the country's first female foreign minister. Eight women are in fact to be named in the ministry. Mr. Widodo's decision to appoint technocrats to two key economic posts has also been welcomed. 

 

And firefighters believe a lightning strike may have to be blamed for a fire that destroyed a house in Melbourne's inner east. The fire started in a tree, which fell onto the roof of the house in Pram. Lightning from a series of thunderstorms lit up the early morning skies over the city.
