Lesson 57 A lovely treat
Last week
mother, father and the children
had lunch at a restaurant.
Mother, father and Sue had some soup.
Sandy didn’t want any.
Then father and Sandy had some steak.
Mother and Sue had chicken.
But the last course was the best.
They all had
strawberries, sugar, and cream.
“Yum! Yum!” Sandy said.
“Did you all have
a nice meal?”father asked.
“Yes, thank you, dad,”Sue answered.
“It was a lovely treat,” Sandy said.
