Lesson 79 Sue’s diary: A new kite
The other day
Sandy and I bought a new kite
and a big ball of string.
It was very windy
so we flew our kite
in the park.
The wind blew hard
and our kite flew very high
and very well.
Then the string broke.
We both tried to get the string.
We ran very fast,
but the wind carried the kite far away.
We watched it for a long time
untill it flew
out of sight. |
