A drunk man
A man went to a bar, got really drunk and then walked home. The man fell down after every two steps he took. He continued walking and falling all the way to his house.
The next morning his wife said, "I know you were drinking last night." He asked, "How did you know?" She said, "You left your crutches at the bar.

美国有很多酒吧,人们喜欢在下班后去喝酒,美国法律规定21岁以下青少年不得进人酒吧,所以酒吧门口通常会挂有。“No Minors Allowed”(未成年不得进入)的告示。

当take后接表示动作的名词时,take表示“做;采取”, 如:take a cxercise(做运动),take a rest(休息)等。

他继续跌跌撞撞地一路回到家。
continue后面若是接动名词(v. -ing) ,表示动作的持续性;若是接不定式(to + v),则表示断断续续或一种习惯性的行为。如:She continued to study English.她继续学英语。

第二天早上,他妻子说;”我知道你昨晚喝酒了。”
