 Thousands of police officers from around the country turned out Saturday for the funeral of Rafael Ramos,one of the NYPD officers killed in an ambush shooting last week. Vice President Joe Biden was among the speakers. He said their deaths “touched the soul” of an entire nation.

 
North Korea blamed its recently internet outage on the United States on Saturday and hurled racially charged insults at President Barack Obama of the hacking row involving  “The Interview.” North Korea’s National Defense Commission said Obama was behind the release of the comedy that depicts leader Kim Jong Un’s assassination, and described the movie as illegal, dishonest and reactionary.  
 
Malaysia’s Prime Minister has cut short his US vacation to deal with massive flooding in his country. Atleast five people have died in Malaysia’s worst flood in three decades. More than one hundred thousand have been evacuated. 
 
A 16-story building in Crimea was finally demolished on Saturday, after the first attempt left the structure tilting to one side, but mostly intact. Residents cheered as the building fell to theground.
