2. An Egyptian judge ordered the release on bail of the remaining jailed Al-Jazeera journalists. Families have sought for their freedom for more than a year. Their fellow and imprisoned colleague Peter Greste  was deported two weeks earlier. 

 

3. After a ceasefire deal was reached in, after all-night negotiations between Russia, Ukraine, France and Germany, skepticism remains in Ukraine. Protesters gathered in rebel-held Donestk , hours after the peace deal was reached. A previous ceasefire in September was violated repeatedly. 

 

4. And the city of Brotherly love is selected as the host of next democratic national convention. Mayor Michael Nutter celebrated the big win with cheers as the DNC chair called the news. Phil last hosted the convention in 1948.
