The Obama administration has reached a meeting of the minds with the Indian government. It clear the way for US companies to help Indian in developing nuclear power plants. NPR’s GH reports the deal was announced following a lengthy meeting today between president Obama and the Indian prime minister. 
The Obama administration is eager to see India to develop sources of electricity that don’t contribute to greenhouse gases, including both solar and nuclear power. The agreement is to remove road blocks preventing American companies from working with Indian’s nuclear industry. US ambassador Rich V said the US addressed liability in the matter of a nuclear accident as well as the way nuclear materials are tracked. 
Ultimately let the companies decide whether they go or not, but the two governments came a long way to reach an understanding. 
Indian’s prime minister says developing more clean sources of energy for his power staffed country is both a personal and national priority. NPR news, New Deli. 
 
Outgoing sectary  of defense Hago says president Obama’s goals of closing Gautama bay will be tough to achieve by the end of his term. It is gonna be very difficult especially for Congress further restricts where these last 122 detainees go. Hago has an interview with NPR to be broadcast tomorrow morning on morning addition. 
He also says a decade of war and uncertainty about future budget cuts have hurt US military readiness. 
 
At least thirty police commanders are dead in clashes between Philippine polices and Muslim rebel in southern Philippines. Sunshine D reports form M says the heavy fighting may threaten a peace deal signed last year between the government and the largest Muslim rebel group in the Philippines. 
Now I am in the town where the fighting happened. Told by the associated press said the police intended to arrest a terrorist bombing suspect, but had caught mis-encounter with the members of Moral Liberation Front. Philippine officials say the target was Z…a Malaysian bomb expert who has a US department issued five million bounty on his head. The nearly 12 hours fighting was the first time that the MLF and securities forces have clashes since 2011, and resulted in the biggest single day combat that last in the country in many years. Reuters reports that peace parties has started informal talks to try to avert any escalation that could threaten a final peace deal in a region that has seen four decades of armed conflict. Up to 3 feet of snow could fall on some places in the northeast as a powerful winter storm heads to the area. The national weather service has issued blizzard warning for Boston which could see up to a 2 feet snow and New York city.  Weather bureau also says the storm could be the worst that New York has ever seen. The storm has United Airlines planned canceling flights on Tuesday flights to New York, Boston, and Philadelphia.

Dozens of people are dead in a Nigerian city of MIDUGUARY when suspected Bokhara Islam militant insurgents launched several attacks on several cities. The Nigerian military has held off many of the attacks.  The five years old Islam insurgents have killed an estimate of 10, 000 people last year alone. 
 
Dozens of drivers regularly commute across the border of Santiago, many of whom have been approved to use fast lanes to speed their transit. But John, a member of KPBS reports those most trusted drivers can become unwilling drug mill. The fast lane is on the busiest crossing in the world traveling from California into Mexico. The cars display their fast pass to ride that lane.  It is a perfect w for drug smugglers.  Smugglers are putting boxes of powerful magnets on the bottom of the cars in Mexico. Then they remove them to sell the drugs in the US side of border. The boxes can carry up to 15 pounds of powder drugs, such as heroine. This smuggling method is growing more popular says ice officer Lauren M. 
 
We have recently seen a spike of 4 cases here of within a matter of a couple of weeks. So it is a matter of the public being aware, and taking a look under the vehicle before returning. So far unwilling drivers who find the drugs have not been charged. For NPR news I am NJ in Santiago.
 
President Obama plans to propose the expansion of the oil drilling ban on wild life refuge in Alaska. It was designated millions of acres of wild life refuge as wild, that move from the battle republican called concress of oil and gas drilling in that area.
