1. 78-year-old Harry Whittington, the Austin lawyer, who was shot by Vice President Dick Cheney while quail hunting over the weekend, suffered a minor heart attack Tuesday morning. Whittington is back in intensive care at a Corpus Christi hospital.
2. The man convicted of raping and murdering 11-year-old Carlie Brucia in Florida two years ago cried and apologized in court Tuesday. Joseph Smith says he has a drug problem. A judge will decide next month if he'll receive the death penalty.
3. Jury selection continues in the case of Zacarias Moussaoui. A judge decided that Moussaoui will no longer be allowed in the courtroom because of his outbursts. He'll watch the proceedings from a close circuit monitor in jail. His trial is set to begin March 6th.
4. Dozens of couples pledged their love on Valentine's Day by getting married on the eightieth floor of the Empire State Building. To get married in the building, couples have to write essays explaining why they want to get married there. Once married, the couples become members of the prestigious Empire State Building Wedding Club
