1. A four-storey building on the East Side of Manhattan collapsed after a thunderous explosion this morning. At least 15 people were injured, including 10 firefighters. Investigators say the blast may have been caused by a suicidal doctor who lived in the building.
2. On May 10th, 2005 Northwest Airlines Flight 1495 bumped Northwest Airbus A319 as it was taxiing to the gate. One passenger, four crew members and two ground employees were injured. The plane was traveling about 15 miles an hour.
3. The jury selection is underway in the Florida case of a man accused of kidnapping, raping and murdering 9-year-old Jessica Lunsford. A former neighbor and convicted sex offender John Couey allegedly buried the girl alive in garbage bags in March of 2005.
4. The president of Poland appointed his identical twin brother as the new prime minister during a ceremony at the presidential palace in the capital Warsaw. When they shook hands, they looked almost indistinguishable. Good thing, one was wearing a grey suit, and the other a black one.
