3. Two police officers riding bikes to raise money for the families of officers killed on duty were themselves killed in a wreck near the Indiana-Illinois state line today. Police say a vehicle hit by a truck slammed into the bike riders, killing two and injuring three others.
4. A tropical depression is churning in the Atlantic with sustained wind speeds of thirty-five miles per hour. But the National Weather Service is watching it closely to see if it grows stronger. At thirty-nine miles an hour, it could become Debby, the fourth named storm of the Atlantic hurricane season.
