Father: Mm? Mother: Toast, dear? Father: Mm? Mother: Would you like any tea, dear? Father: Mm? Mother: Oh, Jim! You’re not listening to me! Father: Mm? Mother: Would you like any toast, children? Sandy: We’d love some, mum. Mother: Have some butter and some marmalade, too. Sue: That was a lovely breakfast. Thanks , mum. Father: Have you finished already? I haven’t had my breakfast yet! Mother: I’m sorry, Jim. There’s none left.
