From NPR news in Washington, I am WJ. Police in Dallas has confirmed the death of a gunman who opened fire at his police headquarters early this morning. The suspect was killed during fire in a suburban parking lot.
At the location in Hutchins where the suspect's van is parked, our swat snipers shut up the engine block of the suspect vehicle with a 50 caliber sniper rifle, disabling the man.

Law enforcement officials said they found several explosive devices near the Dallas police headquarter's building.
Hillary Clinton has been running for president for 2 months now, but she held her first big rally today. NPR's T reports from New York's R island.

Those trade talks are at the heart of president strategy to raise the US profile in the pacific. A white house spokesman downplays the house phone as a temporary procedural problem and says the administartion will continue to pursuit fast-trade authority.
A main hunt for two inmates who were escaped from a upstate NY prison is continuing. The search was temporarily called off due to heavy rains. The officials are now focusing on a rural area near the Kenladia border. A prison employee at the Clinton Correctional Facility was charged yesterday with smuggling tools to help the men escape.
