May 19th 1962Actress Marilyn Monroe performs a sultry rendition of Happy Birthday for President John F. Kennedy. 1994In New York, former first lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis dies at age 64. Her years in the White House which she later dubbed Camelot ended in tragedy when her husband was assassinated in Dallas.
1992A shooting on New York's Long Island that draws tabloid headlines across America. 17-year-old Amy Fisher shoots and seriously wounds Mary Jo Buttafuoco, wife of Fisher's lover Joey Buttafuoco. Fisher later serves 7 years in prison for the shooting which Buttafuoco survives.
