Goering takes poison just hours before his scheduled execution as convicted war criminal for his role during War World II. 1917During World War I, a French firing squad outside Paris executes the Dutch dancer Mata Hari convicted the spy for the Germans.
1964A changing of the God of the Kremlin as it’s announced that Nikita Khrushchev has been removed as leader of what’s then the Soviet Union. Alexei Kosygin becomes a new Soviet Premier while Leonid Brezhnev replaces Khrushchev as Communist Party Chief.
