This is AP News Minute. 1. Hillary Rodham Clinton firmly defended her actions on Benghazi as she came face-to-face Thursday with a Republican-led special investigation of the attacks in Libya. Clinton told the committee that she “took responsibility” for the attacks on the embassy. 2. Pentagon officials confirmed that US forces raided an ISIS facility that was holding 70 Iraqi hostages fearing for their lives. One US service member was killed after being wounded during the raid. Four Peshmerga soldiers were also wounded during the operation. 3. Masked man wielding what looked like a sword stabbed four people out of school in Sweden on Thursday, killing a teacher and a student before being shot dead by police. Sweden’s prime minister said the attack marked a dark day for the country. 4. And Hindu faithful across India celebrated the festival of Dussehra, symbolizing the victory of good over evil.
