Heavy snow and tornado are expected from central US to the Rocky Mountain. Areas around the R received18 inches of snow, leaving thousands without power. Numerous traffic accidents were also reported. 

 

Fast food workers demonstrated in cities across the country, they're calling for higher minimum wage. Organizers say it's one of the largest actions ever to call for rise in pay to $16 an hour. Some were also on a strike in a call for union right. 

 

After 20 years, Seattle's gum wall is given a steam clean, a million pieces of gum estimated to be on the wall. It's becoming city's landmark. But the steam clean-up is expected to take 3 days.
