Mike: Did you see "Friends" last night? I was falling out of my chair laughing!

Amanda: No, I'm not really into sitcoms. Besides, all the episodes of "Friends" are just reruns now. I've been watching "Bai Quan Nu Wang." I just loooove the leading actor in it! He's so cute!

Mike: Yuck! I hate romance. That show sounds like a soap opera to me.

Amanda: Come on, it's definitely not that. The acting in soap operas is so bad, and they're way too sappy.

Mike: And the acting in your favorite show is better? Those stars might look great, but their acting is lousy.

Amanda: That's not true. They can be really funny sometimes, and they use plenty of expression. It is true that the actors' looks do help the romantic scenes a lot, though.

Mike: Dramas just aren't my thing, unless they're action dramas; then they're ok. But sitcoms are my favorite, and "Friends" is just an all-time hit. It did last ten seasons after all!

Amanda: That's too long, in my opinion. The Sunday night dramas have a set beginning and ending point instead of going on and on till people get tired of them. Though I'd never get tired of looking at my idol!
