1. From the UK to the US, fans of music icon David Bowie are mourning the loss of the music legend. A memorial with flowers and notes lined the streets outside Bowie’s NY City apartment, while in south London, fans flocked to the artist’s birthplace in Brixton to pay homage to the musical genius. 2. The Mexican government released video of the raid leading to the arrest of Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman. Guzman was captured Friday more than three months after meeting actor Sean Penn on Oct. 2nd for an interview and six months after escaping from prison.
3. Italian prosecutors say they’ve opened a murder investigation to the death of an American woman who was found in her Florence apartment Saturday night. Italian police identify the woman as 35-year-old Florida native Ashley Olsen. Olsen was found with scratch marks and bruises on her neck.
4. Abigale Lee Kemp made her first appearance before a judge Monday after being arrested for a string of jewelry store robberies across the South. A Georgia judge set a Thursday hearing to decide conditions of her detention and appointed a federal public defender to represent her.
