In the NBA,the Golden State Warriors hosting the New York Knicks. The league's defending champions came in looking for their sixth straight victory, which would improve them to 32-0 at home this campaign, and run their overall regular season streak to 50 straight at the Oracle Arena dating back to last winter.

Reigning MVP Steph Curry would make sure the Dubs don't suffer a letdown in this one. The visitors have an upset on their minds from the opening tip, as Kristaps Porzingis puts New York ahead 4-0 in the first two minutes.

But Golden State storms back, and then Curry cuts in, as the floater puts the home team up by eight. The MVP beating Derrick Williams off the dribble, and he's got the lane all to himself.

The Knicks would turn to Carmelo Anthony for three of his team-high 18 points, but they still finds themselves down by 14 midway through the second quarter.

After half-time, Draymond Green dishes to Klay Thompson for one of his five treys, and that increases the Warriors lead to 21. He would finish with 19.

Later in the third Q the Dubs look to Curry again, and he beats the shot clock by banking in one of his eight treys, en route to 34, in a rout.

Elsewhere the Clippers raced past Houston, Anthony Davis had 27 points and 14 rebounds as New Orleans beat Sacramento. Kevin Durant score 28 points, while Russell Westbrook added 24, in OKC's win over Dallas. LeBron James got the night off for Cleveland, who still managed to hold off Dallas. John Wall's triple-double pushed Washington by Chicago and Charlotte downed Orlando.
