Crews are working to clear the site of 16-car Norfolk Southern freight train derailment that forced the evacuation of dozens of Western New York homes after ethanol leaked from two tankers. Emergency response officials say no one was injured and they’ve now contained the leak from the two derailed cars. 

 

Hundreds of the Abortion Right advocates rallied outside the Supreme Court on Wednesday as the justices were taking up the biggest case on the issue in nearly a quarter centaury. The abortion debate returns to the Supreme Court in the midst of the heated presidential campaign in less than three weeks after Justice Antonin Scalia’s death. 

 

And Republican Presidential Candidate Ben Carson says “he sees no path forward to the party’s nomination” after a poor finish across the Super Tuesday Primaries. Carson said in a statement that he will not attend Thursday’s GOP debate in Michigan.
