2. President Barack Obama hosted Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau at the White House Tuesday. It's the first official visit by a Canadian leader in nearly 20 years. The two men announced new efforts to curb global warming as well as efforts to make it easier for the two countries to trade with one another. 

 

3. CAIR, the council on American-Islamic relations is calling on Donald Trump to apologize for saying "I think Islam hates us" during a television interview Wednesday night. CAIR's national executive director is suggesting Trump make the apology at Thursday evening GOP debate.
