CCTV9英语新闻：Leaders from six countries issue joint declaration（在线收听）

After the meeting, leaders from China and the other five countries -- Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam -- have issued a joint declaration. The declaration aims to promote sustainable security and development in the Lancang-Mekong Sub-region. 

It also promotes high-level exchanges with a view to strengthening sustainable security. The declaration supports the establishment of a law enforcement cooperation institution, and will enhance cooperation against non-traditional security threats, including terrorism, transnational crimes, and natural disasters. Also, it will promote cooperation in addressing climate change impacts, humanitarian assistance, as well as ensuring food, water and energy security.
