Diarmuid: How about the different categories of books? Kate: We have got a large mixture of general trade books and more academic books; we've got a large history section with lots of military history, politics; we've got a big archaeology section which is extremely popular amongst our customers. We've got an extensive area for books that deal with English as a foreign language, which is also extremely popular – people come from literally all over the world to shop (at) that particular department. Diarmuid: Let's have a look at the list: general trade books and academic books. That's just some of the conventional categories in the bookshop; but they also have some unconventional categories, which you may not find in other bookshops. Kate: We also have a very extensive area on our second floor which deals with Asian history and culture and we are increasing the amount of books we stock in – for instance – Chinese, because we're finding that we're getting an increasing amount of requests from customers for those kinds of books. |
